Cancer can be developed in any part of the body. We can say, cancer is a group of different disease which causes due to some of the body’s cell grows uncontrollably and spread to other parts of the body.
The human body is made up of trillion of cells. The cells are the main point of spreading cancer in the body. To understand cancer, first, we need to understand the cells. Generally, human cells grow and multiply by a process called cell division to create new cells as the body demands. But sometimes, this orderly process breaks down or goes wrong. The damaged or unwanted cells grow and multiply when they should not. These old cells may form a mass of tissues called tumors (lumps of tissues). Tumors can be cancerous but, not all tumors can be cancerous. Tumors can be benign or malignant. Malignant tumors are cancerous. Benign tumors are not cancerous.
Malignant tumors can be invaded nearby tissues and spread to distant places in the human body to create a new tumor. This process is called metastasis. Numerous cancers form a solid tumor, but the cancers of blood do not, such as leukemias.
However, Benign tumors cannot be invaded nearby tissues or spread into the body. Even though, once you remove the cells, benign tumors usually don’t grow back, while cancerous tumors do sometimes. But occasionally, Benign tumors can be quite large. Nevertheless, some can impact serious symptoms or can be dangerous, like benign tumors in the brain.
